The Dixon Elementary community donated a total of 1,686 boxes of cereal to those in need in Waukesha County. On April 20, the Dixon PTO set up all of the boxes for a domino race. The idea for the drive came from Dixon student Olivia Petersen and was coordinated by her and the PTO, with mini-competitions among grade levels throughout the drive.

"It's really nice help the communities of Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties," said Petersen. The boxes will help feed hundreds of local families in need.
