L to R: Tanya and JillOn June 9, the Elmbrook Board of Education approved the promotion of Dr. Tanya Fredrich to the position of Assistant Superintendent of Teaching Learning: Student Services and Jill McDonald to the position of Director of Student Services.

"We are very proud of the talent that we have been able to develop in our organization," said Superintendent Mark Hansen. "Over the past several years, Tanya Fredrich and Jill McDonald have expanded their influence across the District and our region, and as we prepare to transition back to school this Fall we will lean heavily on their leadership as we anticipate increased services and demands upon our student services department."

Dr. Fredrich has been employed with Elmbrook Schools for 13 years, beginning as the Assistant Director of Special Education. She was promoted five years later to Director of Student Services, and has also served as interim Principal at Fairview South for several years. Tanya received her Doctorate in Philosophy from Cardinal Stritch University in 2014.

McDonald has been employed with Elmbrook Schools since 2008 and began her Elmbrook career as a Special Education Teacher at BEHS. She then transitioned to a Department Head role and in 2018-19 became a Special Education Coordinator. Jill received her Master's in Educational Leadership from Carroll University this year.
