East's Connor Thorpe Voted Greater Metro Conference Wrestler of the Year

Connor ThorpeBrookfield East Senior Connor Thorpe was recently voted the Greater Metro Conference's (GMC) Wrestler of the Year! This honor comes after his state title in February that he won with a 13-0 season record. Connor was also named to the GMC's First All-Conference Team, and is the second BEHS wrestler to be a four-time conference champion.

"He is an amazing wrestler and his influence on the teammates at Brookfield East has helped this program rewrite the history books," said Coach Andrew Mueller. "His selflessness and effort to help his teammates improve and the culture that he helped develop is something Brookfield East will benefit from for years to come."
