The School District of Elmbrook's Board of Education confirmed the Administration's recommendation of Elizabeth Purse as Associate Principal of Pilgrim Park Middle School at its regular board meeting on Tuesday, June 9.
"We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Purse to Pilgrim Park," said Principal, Kelly Szesterniak. "Elizabeth comes to us with proven leadership skills and a focus on creating a successful student-centered culture of achievement and inclusivity."
"I am very grateful to have been selected as the new Associate Principal for Pilgrim Park Middle School," said Purse. "I am excited to join the Elmbrook Schools community and work with the incredible students, staff, and families at PPMS in the coming school year."
Before coming to Elmbrook, Purse taught at Elmwood Elementary in New Berlin where she gained various leadership skills. Beginning in 2019, she served as Dean of Students for Whitnall High School in Greenfield. Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (2013) and her Masters in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University (2019).
Elizabeth Purse replaces Matt Jolliff and will begin as Associate Principal of Pilgrim Park in August, 2020.
