Roger Bottoni, former Tonawanda Principal, passed away on Wednesday, March 18. Roger began his 30-year career in Elmbrook as a teacher at Woodside School and transitioned to the role of Principal at Fairview North Elementary School. In 1970 he became the first Principal of Tonawanda Elementary School where he remained until his retirement in 1992.  

Students and staff remember Roger as an extraordinary man with a huge heart. Roger had an exceptional sense of humor who made every child feel special by building strong, long-lasting relationships.

We extend our sympathies to his family and to all of the students, staff and families who knew him. A memorial service to celebrate Roger's life is being planned for Spring or Summer. Please click here to view his obituary.
