Judy Scaro Named Brookfield Jaycees Outstanding Educator

Judy Scaro

Judy Scaro, Wisconsin Hills Library Instructional Technology Assistant, has been named the 2019 Brookfield Jaycees Outstanding Educator. The annual Distinguished Service Awards banquet honors one Outstanding Police Officer, Outstanding Firefighter, and Outstanding Educator, and will take place this year on March 22. Judy began at Elmbrook Schools in 2011 and has worked as the Wisconsin Hills Library Assistant for the past two years, previously serving as a Technology Integrator for the District.

Her nomination, submitted by several members of the Wisconsin Hills leadership team, praised Judy’s work including her part in transforming the WHMS Library into an innovative hub of learning and discovery. “Judy is student-centered, passion-driven, and a creative and inspiring leader,” said WHMS Principal, Lisa Rettler. “She engages our district and regional community in various ways, with students always at the center of her mission.”
