Julian Rhee Named Bolz Young Artist Competition Winner

Julian Rhee BEHSBrookfield East Junior, Julian Rhee, has been named the first place winner of the highly-regarded, statewide Bolz Young Artist Competition!

BEHS Junior Julian RheeBrookfield East Junior, Julian Rhee, has been named the first place winner of the highly-regarded, statewide Bolz Young Artist Competition! After recently being announced as a Final Forte member, Rhee's win was solidified with his performance of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35, Movement 1.

Winners of the Bolz Young Artist Competition are featured as soloists with the Madison Symphony Orchestra during the Spring Young People's Concert. Each winner also receives a $2000 scholarship and the Marian Bolz Prize for Distinguished Musical Achievement or the Steenbock Youth Music Award.
