Elmbrook Schools, in accordance with Wisconsin DPI's Academic and Career Planning initiative, is in the process of transitioning to a new software to support students through their planning. This software is called Xello. Throughout middle school and high school, students will have the opportunity to use this software to build self-awareness and explore careers, post-secondary education options, and majors. Students will be be afforded with guided learning opportunities and with options to utilize it independently. This is an excellent resource to learn about your child's interests and experiences as well as to move forward with future planning.
The transition to Xello will occur over the next two years. Depending on the grade level, some students will transition from Naviance to Xello this year and some will wait until next year. By the end of 2018-19, all students in grades 6-12 will have had the opportunity for guided exploration using Xello.
If you are interested in exploring this tool, please sit down with your child and log in together to access Xello. Xello can be located via your child's links page in their My Elmbrook account. For more information regarding academic and career planning, explore Elmbrook's ACP page.
