Proof of Measles Immunity is requried for employees in order to work at a District location during the incubation period should a measles outbreak occur within the Elmbrook Schools community.  Proof must be submitted by ALL employees through Skyward Tasks in order that the District is prepared in advance of any outbreak.  Reference the Letter to ALL Employees: Measles Immunity Program article for more information.

Follow these easy instructions to submit proof through Skyward Employee Access.

A titer verifies immunity through blood draw--it is not an immunization nor a booster shot.  Proof of measles immunity can be obtained through the following:

  • Postive Titer Results (Serologic Testing Record)
  • State Immunization Registry Record (such as from Wisconsin Immunization Registry)
  • Physician's Confirmation of Immunization
  • Check-box verification of birthdate prior to January 1, 1957 (considered immune due to past mass outbreaks)

Parental records and baby books do NOT provide sufficient proof of immunization.

We understand that employees may have a medical exemption or choose to waive vaccines, in these cases, please indicate within the Skyward Task form.  For health reasons, you may not be allowed to work during an outbreak incubation period and this time may be without pay.

What to do if your measles titer result is negative (indicating no immunity to measles): Learn more about immunizations in this article, Received a Negative Measles Titer Result?
