Below is the March letter which was sent to parents PIN and Adventures in Middle School.  Please see the invitation below.  More information will be coming in April and "a frequently asked questions" document as well. 

Dear 5th Grade Parents,

In planning for our 5th Grade Parent Information Night this year, we have prioritized convenience and accessibility for busy family schedules, along with the value of an in person visit to PPMS. This year, Parent Information Night will entail the following:

1. A video presentation will be emailed to 5th grade families on 4/22 that provides you with important information about middle school. You can watch this video at a time that is convenient for you, and can always go back to the video at a later date to view it again if needed. If you cannot make the 4/25 event, you will still have all the information that you need!

2. On April 25th, Pilgrim Park will be open for a meet and greet with administration and a self guided tour of the building from 6:00pm until 7:30pm. There will not be a formal presentation, so families can come anytime within this window. We ask that you stay with your child while walking the building and getting familiar with PPMS.

More details about the 4/25 Meet and Greet will be shared the week before the event. Please mark this date on your calendar! Mrs. Berghauer and I will also be visiting all 5th grade classrooms in May/June to answer questions about middle school and get to know our new students. 

Additionally, we have scheduled our Adventures in Middle School Program for 6th graders for Thursday, August 29th. Mark your calendar with this date. Please see this invitation for more information. We will send this information out again in the summer with an RSVP form for you to fill out.

Finally, the PPMS PTO is having a spirit wear sale. Everything is 25% off! This sale typically closes near the end of March so you’ll have to act quickly, but this can be a great gift for your graduating 5th grader! Orders are shipped directly to your home. 

We can’t wait to welcome our new Panthers to PPMS and hope to see many of you on April 25th.
