Reporting Absences:
Call 262-785-3924 OR email PPMS Attendance ( to report the absence or dismissal by 8 am the day of the absence.
When reporting your child’s absence from school, please provide the following information:

  1. Student Name
  2. Grade
  3. Reason for the absence - If he/she is missing school because of illness, it will be important to let us know in your message ALL of your child’s symptoms and any physician confirmed diagnosis, such as Strep, Sinus Infection, Ear Infections, COVID-19 etc. It will also be important to know if your child is staying home because he/she has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
  4. If ill or quarantined, indicate in your message whether he/she can participate virtually via Zoom. See below for more information on accessing the classroom via Zoom.
  5. Time of dismissal (if your message if for a dismissal)

Logging into Classroom via Zoom
If your child is ill or quarantined at home and is well enough to learn from home, but not allowed to attend in person school. Logging into the classroom via Zoom is a solution that will help a child stay up to date with the class during his/her absence. This option should only be used when absolutely necessary. Students that can attend live school are asked to be in the building for their learning.  Please access the document below for specific instructions on how to login to the live classroom via Zoom.
