Our Pilgrim Park Forensics Team performed well at this past Saturday’s meet at Nature Hill Intermediate School in Oconomowoc on March 16th. We had some students that got much needed state qualifying scores at this meet, with a 40 out of 46 performances being blue ribbon worthy. We had several NEW top performers in their categories this meet, which means that practice is paying off!

1st place: Serious Solo-Ruba Ahmed

1st place: Persuasive-Akash Moorching

1st place: Poetry-Abby Malnar

2nd place: Non-Original-Iman Hafeez

3rd place: News Reporting-Ben Saudek

3rd place: Storytelling-David Jia

3rd place: Storytelling-Susie Coakely

Our next meet is an invitation-only meet at St. Dominic’s on Friday the 22nd. This meet takes place after school until about 9 p.m. MEET IN THE CAFETERIA AFTER SCHOOL with all of your things if you are one of the few attending this meet. Emails were sent to those who are attending already, so if you did not get an email from Mrs. Reedy, you DO NOT need to attend this meet.

Our next couple weeks will be preparation for the State Meet at West Bend High School on April 6th from about 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will be receiving a congrats contract from a coach within the next week to sign and return if you qualified for the state meet. Please look for this and other email updates. Make sure to sign up with Miss McCall, Mrs. Stewart, or Mrs. Reedy for practices from now until April 5th!
