SkillsUSA Takes Top Honors!

The Pilgrim Park SkillsUSA Club attended the 46th Annual State Conference this past Tuesday and Wednesday in Madison, WI.  This conference is the biggest event SkillsUSA holds and is the pinnacle of our year.  This year more than 1,900 middle school, high school and technical college students competed in almost 80 events focused around applying skills learned from their career, applied technology and engineering classes.  Mr. Fredrickson would like to recognize the following students for their achievements.

In the Woodworking 50-149 dollar contest - 1st place State Champion - Megan Schatz

In the Woodworking over 150 dollar contest - 1st place State Champion - Taryn Tom.  Taryn also earned a perfect score on her project and was the only person from any woodworking entry to do so.

In the Related Technical Math contest - 1st place State Champion - Reilly Tom

Congratulations to these students as well as all the students who competed this week.
