FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team

FIRST Robotics Competition is an international high school robotics competition where teams of students design, build, and program industrial-sized robots to compete in a brand new game each year. It's a competitive and challenging experience that combines elements of sport and engineering, fostering teamwork, problem-solving, and STEM skills.

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Teams

FIRST Tech Challenge is a robotics competition for students in grades 7-12, where teams design, build, program, and operate robots to compete head-to-head. Students collaborate with mentors, developing STEM skills, engineering principles, and valuable life skills like teamwork, innovation, and public speaking.

FIRST Lego League (FLL) Teams

FIRST LEGO League uses fun, hands-on learning to introduce science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to students in PreK-8th Grade. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together.

FIRST Lego League Teams Explore

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Explore is a program designed for students ages 6-10 (typically grades K-3) that introduces them to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) through hands-on learning and play with LEGO bricks. It focuses on building an interest in science and engineering, fostering teamwork, and developing foundational skills in research, design, and coding using LEGO Education SPIKE Essential.

Sara Lieske is the District's first, K-12 Robotics Coordinator, a role created to organize and promote robotics throughout the District. Sara is focused on building a network of parent volunteers, expanding school resources, and providing opportunities to introduce robotics to more students!
