$50/child with a two student fee cap.

Bus Locations for Morning Pick-Up & Afternoon Drop-Off:
Pick-up and drop-off locations will be at each of the following buildings: Burleigh, Dixon, Tonawanda, Pilgrim Park, Wisconsin Hills, Brookfield East, & Fairview South.

• Transportation must be selected during registration
• District is unable to provide transportation directly to/from homes
• Pick up and drop off times are TBD
• Bus schedules will be posted on the Summer School site two weeks before the first day of classes. Please check back.
• May 17, 2024 is the last day parents will be able to make transportation changes, or cancel services to be eligible to receive a refund.

Fee Payment: The District will use Infinite Campus to allow parents to pay summer school transportation fees. You are encouraged to pay fees online via a debit/credit card or e-check, no additional transaction fees will be applied. To begin, login to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. • Registration opens on March 12 at 12pm and closes March 19 at 12pm via the Infinite Campus Portal.
• If your child currently attends the Elmbrook District you will log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account, select More, Course Registration, then choose 23-24 Summer School for the grade level your child is currently enrolled. Follow the prompts to select your summer school courses.

  • Due to high traffic volume and student safety, we highly suggest utilizing District transportation. This must be selected during registration. Additional information can be found under the Transportation tab.
• If you are a new family with children entering Kindergarten in 2024-25, please complete the District’s online enrollment form and provide required verification documents by March 8, 2024.
• Course placement is by lottery, every student has the same priority in course placement. Your Summer School Schedule will be posted in your student’s Infinite Campus Account on or about April 9 at 12pm.

• New Private Parochial Students to summer school: In order to complete course selection beginning March 12 at 12pm - March 19 at 12pm, you must complete the online registration and upload requested verification documents by March 8, 2024. 
• Returning Private and parochial students: If your child attended summer school in the district last year you will need to complete online enrollment  in order to ensure we have the most up-to-date information on file.  This needs to be completed by March 8. You do NOT need to provide residency verification or your child’s birth certificate.

Below you will find the summer school transportation schedule.  We ask for your patience the first week of summer school since many students and staff are in schools they are unfamiliar with and we may experience delays boarding buses. 

School drop off and pick up locations:

Burleigh, Dixon, Tonawanda, WHMS, Fairview - Front of school

PPMS - West side of school (parking lot adjacent to Pilgrim Pkwy)

BEHS - North parking lot

PLEASE remember there is NO supervision at the bus stop locations.  You will need to remain with your child until they board the bus, and be at the stop when they are dropped off.   In order to maintain our transportation schedule, if you are not at the stop when the bus arrives your child will be transported back to summer school.  

If your child will be walking or riding their bike home from their bus stop they must carry a note with them everyday granting them parental permission.

In order for your child to utilize district buses for summer school they need to be registered for transportation.  To avoid confusion and buses being over capacity, please DO NOT put your child on the bus if they are not signed up.  If your child rides the bus to school in the morning without being registered they will not be allowed on the bus after summer school and you will need to pick them up from the main office.  Transportation was an option during the summer school registration process, and unfortunately we do not have capacity to accommodate additional riders.

Welcome to Elmbrook’s Summer School!  We are committed to the safety of our students and staff.  We observe safety best practices from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Office of School Safety, and the Standard Response Protocols from the ILOVEYOUGUYS foundation, for emergency response

Following are some basic safety and security practices we have in place to ensure a successful summer school

Entering School

• Entry into school will only occur through designated doors where a staff member will be standing by to greet you

Visitors

• Visitors are generally not allowed in school for safety reasons.  
• All visitors requesting access to the school will have to be approved at the front office and get a visitor badge issued that must be worn when in the school.
• All pre-scheduled visitors will have to be approved at the front office and get a visitor badge issued that must be worn when in the school.

Security

• Exterior doors to the school will be locked during the school day.

Safety

• School staff will review safety protocols with the principal and safety director prior to the start of the school year.
• Students will receive an age appropriate safety review when classes begin and will perform an evacuation/fire drill near the beginning of summer school.

Traffic

• Traffic is a challenge at the beginning of summer school.  People from all over the community are converging and many are not familiar with the school lots.
• Give yourself enough time because it will take a little longer at the beginning.
• Staff will work diligently to get students safely to and from school.  Your patience and cooperation helps them accomplish this.

Attention Summer School Families of Students with Medical Needs:

NEW STUDENTS WITH MEDICAL NEEDS--If your student has medical needs and may require summer school staff to intervene (administer emergency, scheduled, or as needed medications) we will need physician orders prior to the first day of summer school. EXISTING 23-24 SDE STUDENTS WITH MEDICAL NEEDS---If your child is currently a student in the district and we already have been providing above medications/cares, we will NOT need additional orders, we will use the orders from the 23-24 school year.
