Swanson DPI Score: 87.8The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction released school report cards this week, naming Swanson Elementary as a school that "Significantly Exceeds Expectations" with a composite score of 87.8. This is the highest designation and reflects strong performance in the areas of:

• Student Achievement
• Student Growth
• Closing Gaps
• Post-Secondary Readiness

“The District and School Report Cards provide one system of measurement to compare the quality of our District with our peers across the state,” said Dana Monogue, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. “We are proud of our results, and recognize the effort of our students and staff for their commitment to excellence each and every day.”

This is the sixth year of the School Report Card and the fifth year of a District Report Card. For 2017-18, the School District of Elmbrook has earned the distinction of "Significantly Exceeds Expectations," which is the highest rating attainable and is based on the overall performance of its nine eligible schools.
