Young Professional Scholars

The Young Professionals Scholars (YPS) provides various career-based learning experiences to Brookfield Central and Brookfield East High School students. Being sensitive to each student’s passions, interests, skills, strengths, and aspirations/goals, and given the targeted focus on academic and career planning, YPS program options include opportunities for career exploration, preparation and training, for leadership and employability skill development, and/or to learn and apply technical knowledge and skills in high demand, high skill fields through authentic hands-on learning by collaborating with and being guided by professional experts in career areas.

Starting in 2018-19:

1. Each YPS experience will be designated on the student’s transcript

2. YPS will be explained on the BCHS/BEHS school profile (this document is shared with institutions of higher education during the college admissions/application process)
