Clubs & Organizations

The following clubs are offered at Tonawanda Elementary School:


  • Geography Club
  • Battle of the Books
  • Spelling Bee
  • Nature Club
  • Student Senate
  • Science Fair
  • Running Club
  • Drama Club is open to fourth and fifth grade students. Tryouts are held for varying parts in the school play which is in February/March. The clubs meets Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. from the end of January through the first week of March.

In addition, students may participate in:

· Band

· Orchestra

· Student Senate

· Chorus: Chorus is open to all fourth and fifth grade students. Chorus meets Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 8:15am to 8:45am. The Chorus performs in the school play which is held in February/March.

· Cub/Boy Scouts
· Daisies/Brownies/Girl Scouts
· Foreign Language Classes: Learn beginning Spanish through songs, games and cultural activities. These parent paid classes are held on varying mornings from 7:50 – 8:40.
