NEW! Summer Reading! It is our goal in the Elmbrook School District to help every student become a skilled reader who develops a life-long love of reading. Research shows, however, that children can experience “summer reading loss” over the months when school is not in session. We want to ensure that this does not happen to our students in Elmbrook! Therefore, we have pulled together a list of different activities to support families in making time for literacy over the summer months.
NEW! Spring 2024 Student Assessment Results will be coming home with your children this evening, Friday, May 31. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher. Here is the linked MAP Family Letter-Spring 2024 and additional assessment information can be found on the district website here: https://www.

Please plan to return the yard signs to Tonawanda at the close of the school year beginning Friday, June 7 through June 14 to our front entrance. There will be a bin placed under our front entrance awning to collect them. Thank you for your help in returning these signs as we like to reuse them each year for our fifth grade class.

Due to our limited seating capacity, each family is allowed FOUR tickets to the event. Thank you for your cooperation. A clarification: your fifth grade child is NOT included in your four tickets. Remember to Pick Up Your Child's Medications in the Health Room at the end of the 2023-2024 school year! If your student has medication in the Health Room, it is requested that families pick up any unused medication on or prior to the last day of school, June 6, 2024 on school days between the hours of 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. In accordance with the school board policy, school personnel will dispose of any unused medication left at that time. No
medication will be returned to students or transported on the bus unless self-carry is indicated by the physician.
If your child will be attending summer school, it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to pick up the medication at the current school and transport it to the summer school location. New medication forms are NOT needed for summer school if they are currently on file for the 2023-24 school year.
Updated Medication Authorization Forms do need to be submitted for each student prior to the start of the new school year on September 3, 2024. A Medication Authorization Form is available on the district website. In keeping with board policy, you are reminded that all completed Medication Authorization Forms must be on file in the health room before any medication can be administered.
