Wisconsin Hills & Pilgrim Park Hold First-Ever Collaborative Music Arts Day

On Monday, March 18, the Pilgrim Park and Wisconsin Hills Middle School music students came together to perform in their first-ever Collaborative Music Arts Day! During the day, students traveled to the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for music lessons and rehearsals that culminated in performances in the afternoon for students, families, and staff to enjoy.

190 Orchestra, Choir and Band Students from both schools participated as a part of the "Celebration of the Arts" state-wide celebration to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Wisconsin Arts Board. The band, orchestra, and choir all performed variations of Like the Wind by Erika Svano, inspired by the Wisconsin Poet Laureate Dasha Kelly Hamilton. Congratulations to all of the Elmbrook middle school music educators and students on an incredible event! Videos of their performances can be viewed below.
