On Tuesday, October 8, author Stacy McAnulty, visited Wisconsin Middle School to speak with over 300 sixth grade students.

Her visit was in promotion of her new young adult book, The World Ends in April, which was released on September 3. McAnulty's presentation discussed asteroids and meteors, the importance of strong research, and her love for science that inspired her new novel. At the end of her presentation, she answered various science and writing questions from students and signed copies of her books.

Prior to writing, Stacy was a mechanical engineer and her knowledge of math and science comes together in her captivating stories. Stacy's rave-reviewed portfolio includes science-themed picture books, chapter books, and novels like The Miscalculations of Lightning Girl, The Dino Files, Dear Santasaurus and more!
